Rules
& Entry:
The Great
American Song Contest is open to songwriters, lyricists and music composers
everywhere.
This annual
event is designed for amateur and semi-pro songwriters only. Individuals
who earn over $5,000 in publishing royalties per year are not eligible.
An
entry fee of $30 is required
for each song entered. After the first two, the entry fee drops to
$25 per additional song. The limit is 10 songs per entrant.
The same song may be entered in multiple categories. Each requires a
separate entry fee.
This
year's final deadline is October 31, 2012.
Online and Direct Email submissions must be received by this date. Mail
submissions must be mailed and postmarked by this date.
Entrants will receive an entry confirmation & judging schedule when
their songs are received and processed.
