Rules
& Entry:
The Great
American Song Contest is open to songwriters, lyricists and music composers
around the world.
This annual
event is designed for amateur and semi-pro songwriters only. Individuals
who earn over $5,000 in publishing royalties per year are not eligible.
An
entry fee of $30 is required
for each song entered. There's no limit on the number of songs.
After
the first two entries, the entry fee drops to
$25 for each additional song. (If the same song is entered
in multiple categories, each requires a separate entry fee.)
This
year's event deadline is October 15, 2010.
Online and Direct Email submissions must be received by this date.
Mailed submissions must be postmarked on or before this date.
All entrants will receive an entry confirmation and judging schedule
when the submissions are received and processed.
